As South by Southwest is hitting a bit of a midlife crisis, we’re reviving the worst people of SXSW with an updated and expanded batch of loons doing their best to keep Austin weird. In a world of zero-margin deals and hidden fees, Direct Line Group has done the unthinkable. It has created a payment model with its media agency that both parties actually like. We caught up with Gawker founder Nick Denton at South by Southwest and asked him everything from his post-Gawker plan to Breitbart to the Google-Facebook duopoly.
