Greetings, I am writing to introduce you to our Master of Science in Health Informatics, offered at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University’s medical school in New York City. A degree in Health Informatics from Weill Cornell Medical College includes a curriculum that provides a strong foundation in healthcare research methods with specialized training in health information systems, impact assessment, data analytics, and computational techniques. Each student acquires hands-on experience through a faculty-mentored research project that begins in the first term and culminates in a capstone/portfolio final project. We prepare our graduates for a wide range of careers — including those in healthcare delivery organizations, insurance, and consulting. Potential job opportunities include a variety of positions in data analysis, policy analysis, health information technology, process improvement, quality assessment, team management, organizational strategy, and leadership. Please visit our website for additional information about this program. I would also like to invite you to attend one of our upcoming webinars. Please feel free to contact me at hpr-education@med.cornell.edu should you have any further questions.  The application deadline for our program is May 01, 2017, so there is still plenty of time to submit an application for this graduate degree. Sincerely,  Jessica S. Ancker, M.P.H., Ph.D.
